VibeSearch is a custom-built curated search engine for academic articles. Our goal is to examine how a small AI model may be used to assist research according to the principles and values of education and scholarship.
This prototype was created to help the students in the Media & Information BA and New Media and Digital Culture MA programs at the University of Amsterdam. It is built around an AI vector space of 41 journals, with a total of around 50 thousand articles.
The project is now being developed in collaboration with the UvA AI Chat team, with the goal of allowing anyone across the university to curate and share lists of journals.
